ContractorKit Privacy Policy
ContractorKit is a quoting tool for contractors, made by Hammertime Consulting LLC ("we", "us"). This policy explains what the app stores and what our partners process when you make a purchase.
1. No accounts
ContractorKit has no accounts. We never ask for your name, email address, or contacts to use the app.
2. What stays on your device
Everything you create in ContractorKit stays on your device:
- Client records (names, company, email, phone, and addresses you enter);
- Jobs and their details;
- Quote and invoice documents, line items, and pricing;
- Cost catalog entries and overhead settings;
- App preferences and Pro entitlement status.
We do not upload any of this to our servers. If you uninstall the app or clear its data, it is deleted and we cannot restore it. iCloud device backups may include this data under Apple's own policies.
3. No ads, no analytics
ContractorKit contains no advertising or analytics SDKs and no behavioral tracking. The app's code has placeholder hooks for ads and analytics, but they do nothing: they load no ads and send no events. Nothing about your usage leaves the device for advertising or measurement. If that ever changes, we will update this policy before the release that changes it.
4. Purchases
ContractorKit offers a one-time Pro unlock as an in-app purchase. Apple processes the purchase and receives the transaction information required to complete it. We receive only a verified record that the purchase completed (product identifier, transaction status, and dates). We never see your card or payment details.
The free tier includes 3 active jobs and 10 total documents. The Pro unlock removes these limits permanently on the purchasing Apple ID.
5. Children's privacy
ContractorKit is a professional business tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
6. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected with an updated effective date at the top of this page.
