VetPaycheck Terms of Service
1. Agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of VetPaycheck, a military pay calculator made by Hammertime Consulting LLC ("we", "us"). By using VetPaycheck, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. The service
VetPaycheck provides estimates of military base pay, BAH, VA disability compensation, retirement pay, and drill pay. All calculations run on your device. The app requires no account.
3. Not financial advice
VetPaycheck is a planning tool only. It does not constitute tax, legal, or financial advice. Pay tables and tax data change; verify all figures against official sources for your specific situation before making financial decisions. Consult a qualified professional for advice.
4. Premium
VetPaycheck offers an optional Premium upgrade. On iPhone, Premium is sold as an in-app purchase processed by Apple under Apple's terms. On the web, Premium licenses are sold through Gumroad under Gumroad's terms. License keys are verified at redemption and may be revalidated periodically. Premium features are licensed to you, not sold, and are non-transferable except as the platform allows.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to: (a) reverse engineer or attempt to extract the app's source code or bundled data tables; (b) misrepresent calculated estimates as official government figures; (c) use the app for any unlawful purpose.
6. Intellectual property
VetPaycheck, including its code, design, and compiled pay and tax tables, is owned by Hammertime Consulting LLC. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for personal, non-commercial use.
7. Disclaimer
VetPaycheck is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or currency of any calculation or data table.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hammertime Consulting LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including any financial decisions made based on the app's estimates.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
